Which platforms is Brushland on?

Brushland is a Steam game first. The October 16, 2026 announcement FAQ answers “On what?” with: Windows, Mac, Linux and Steam Deck. Switch, PlayStation and Xbox are later—wording is verbatim from that post, with no schedule.

The Games Press release also names PC, Mac, Linux and Steam Deck for the cozy kingdom-builder. For timing, see release date and demo . For hardware floors, see system requirements .

Steam Deck: what we know and do not know

Confirmed: Michał Marcinkowski groups Steam Deck with the PC/Mac/Linux launch in the announcement FAQ. Steam’s platform checkboxes for app 5163450 include Windows, macOS, and Linux; Deck play typically runs the Linux build through Proton or a native Linux build—Valve has not documented which path Brushland will use.

Not announced yet (as of 2026-10-18):

  • Steam Deck Verified (or Playable / Unsupported) badge
  • Handheld-specific graphics settings or text size
  • Demo availability on Deck versus desktop only

Minimum specs ( 4 GB RAM, Vulkan on Linux ) are modest, but recommended requirements are not announced yet, so real Deck battery life and frame pacing remain unknown.

Consoles: Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox

The FAQ line “Switch, PlayStation and Xbox later” is the only console guidance. There is no:

  • Announcement trailer badge for consoles
  • Nintendo eShop or PlayStation Store listing in our verified sources
  • Year or quarter for any console port
